    Why am I always constipated? I eat a lot of fiber. I drink a lot of water. I get exercise. WTF?

    I really feel like my body is working against me in this way. I feel heavy and bloated and slow.

    Could I have some sort of real problem? I just don’t know. I haven’t gone in dayssssss. I would really love to poo regularly. For serious.

    Do any of you have any suggestions- other than laxatives?

    Isn’t she doing everything right: water, exercise, fiber. How about doing some sustained leg lunges or yoga (alternate swan pose) and chase it with a couple of strong espressos? 

    Some bowels may simply move slower. Not many verified studies on this yet. I had a friend from college who regularly did number two only once a week. When it was his time, though, there was not much warning. I went on a road trip with him once.
